Louise Holt Smith, 85, of Taylorsville, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at Signature Healthcare of Spencer County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Merritt and Mary Lee Hill Holt. Survivors include her sons, John William "Billy" Smith, III, of Cincinnati, and Kevin Smith, of Mount Eden; her daughters, Shelia Tinsley, of Taylorsville, Sharon Stodghill, of Southville, Janet Williamson, of Shelbyville, Michelle Smith, of Louisville, and Cheryl Lynn Smith, of Taylorsville.The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Taylorsville with the Rev. Roy Temple, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the funeral home.Hall-Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
