Ms. Smith is survived by her daughter, Neva Smith, Gainesville, FL; sister, Lorine Wesley, Gainesville, FL; grandchildren, Shavaris Smith, Eva Riggins, Marvin Smith, all of Gainesville, FL, and nine great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Ms. Smith will be held, 11:00am, Friday, June 20, 2014 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Rev. Geraldine W. McClellan, Officiating; burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N.W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL. Ms. Smith will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 2:00 until 7:00pm, and on Friday at the Church from 10:00am until the hour of service.
