SMITH, Louise S. passed away on Dec. 21, at Kindred Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in LaGrange, GA, she moved with her family to Atlanta in 1932, where she completed business school and eventually worked at the Trust Company Bank. In 1956, with her husband and young family, she relocated to St. Petersburg. She volunteered for the American Red Cross during WWII and was one of the founders of the local Twin's Mothers Club. She was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church where she also volunteered. Her greatest joy was her love and care for her family. Hobbies included dancing, reading, gardening, music and playing cards. She is survived by her son, Winton Smith, Jr. of St. Petersburg; daughters Cathy Croteau of St. Petersburg, and Karen Western of Oldsmar and 7 grandchildren, Tyler Fish, Courtney Fish, Shari Croteau, Sean Croteau, Brent Western, Brandon Western and Sam Smith. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Winton Smith, Sr. A celebration of her life will be held at the funeral home 11:30 am Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, where a reception will follow.
