Obituary of Louise Raymond

RAYMOND Louise Raymond. 79, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009. Louise was a long-time resident of the Pittsburgh area, and for the past 7 years resided in Jacksonville. Before moving to Florida, Mrs. Raymond worked for the Oakmont, Pennsylvania Police Department. Her enthusiasm for the Pittsburgh Steelers was legendary, and Sunday afternoons would often find her waving her 'Terrible Towel' and providing play-by-play commentary. A member of Arlington United Methodist Church, she had an enormous heart and a limitless capacity for good. Louise was a friend to every child she ever met and was an active supporter of several children's charities. Her family and loved ones were the center of her life, and her most precious treasures were the family notes and photos that filled her home. Mrs. Raymond is survived by her beloved partner, Robert Davis, four daughters (Karen, Suzanne, Donna, and Barbara), one son (Michael), her brother (Cal), six grandchildren (Elizabeth, Joe, Laura, Renee, Michelle, Angela), five great-grand children (Michael, Emma, Josh, Elijah, Nathan), lifelong friend and traveling companion, Betty Wallick, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends. All were blessed by her presence in their lives. A memorial service will be held at Arlington United Methodist Church on Friday, October 9, at 4:30 pm. Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., assisted the family with arrangements. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
