Funeral services for Louise Rabon Davis, 77, Oriole Lane, South Daytona, who died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Terrace of Daytona Beach, will be held today (Wed-nesday June 22) at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Baggett and Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Barton, pastor, First Baptist Church, South Daytona, and Dr. Job Clement officiating. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Mrs. Davis was a native of Daytona Beach. A graduate of Mainland High School, former leader and 35-year member of Girl Scouts of America, Citrus Council, member of the South Daytona Baptist Church, she retired from Hallmark cards. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Archie J. Davis. Left to cherish her memories are, son, David W. Davis, Dallas, Texas; daughter, Penny Porter (Jim), Jacksonville; two grandsons, Patrick J. Porter and Shawn T. Porter, Jacksonville; and her cat, Fluffy. Donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler County, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129 or the Humane Society, 2364 West LPGA Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32124.
