Louise Powers Lamb of New Milford, Pa. Louise Powers Lamb, 89, went to be with her Lord February 25, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Lamb; son, Wesson Thomas Lamb. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry and Mary Lamb, N.C., Eric Lamb, New Milford; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Tonia Lapp, Del., Jacqueline and George Nagorny, West Chester, Pa., Jane and William Bonner, Glens Mills, Pa., and Amy Lamb, Pittsburgh, Pa.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Louise was co-owner of Lambs Ice Cream Shops in Susquehanna and the Triple Cities area. Member and supporter of the New Milford Presbyterian Church, Junior Guild, active in the Republican Party, Civic Club, Girl Scout Leader, worked for years at the Montrose Court House as a Tip Staff. A Funeral and Committal Service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the Peter P. Savage Funeral Home, 183 Main St., New Milford, Pa., with Rev. James Valentine officiating. The family will welcome friends 12 noon till time of service at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be in the North Jackson Cemetery in the spring.
