Louise Merritt Pratt Smith Louise Merritt Pratt Smith went home to the Lord on Sunday evening, June 6, 2010, in Lakeland, FL. She was born to the now-late Caroline and Orneld Merritt, Sr. She grew up in Tallahassee, Fl, graduating from Lincoln High School. Louise later relocated to Miami, FL, where she became a motivational and an inspiring educator.She later moved to Lakeland, FL. She is survived by her children, Charlie Pratt (Rokeah) and Colletter Denise Green; her brother, Orneld Merritt, Jr.; seven grandchildren, including five that were raised by her, Ivis Desir, Padora Green, Trianna, Kawaza and Kameron Brown; great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.Graveside will be on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Concord Cemetery in Miccosukee.
