MORRISON, Louise Crutcher ShullAt age 93, passed away February 10, 2010 at home. Born on February 15, 1916, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, White Hall Morrison, Jr.; parents, Addie Pierce Crutcher and Harrison Johnston Shull; daughter, Ann Morrison Krejci; son, White Hall Morrison III; brother, Harrison Johnston Shull, Jr. (Margaret). She graduated from Hume Fogg in 1933 and Sullins Junior College in 1935. She was a member of West End United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, Junior League, Colonial Dames of America in Tennessee, Centennial Club, and former member of Belle Meade Country Club. She was a life member of the Ladies' Hermitage Association, Vanderbilt Aid, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Arts Center, Travelers' Rest, and Y.W.C.A. She is survived by son, Johnston Shull Morrison (Judy) and granddaughters, Lori Holland Kramer (Alexander) and Stacey Morrison Preston (James); grandson, Johnston Shull Morrison, Jr. (Jamie); sister, Adelaide Shull Davis; daughter-in-law, Elisabeth Cothren Morrison; and 5 great-grandchildren. Private graveside service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, with visitation in Reed Hall at West End United Methodist Church, from 1 - 2 p.m. on Monday, February 15th, followed by music mediation, and Memorial Service, with Rev. Michael Williams and Andrew Benedict, Jr. officiating. Nephews who will serve as Pallbearers are: Dr. Harrison Shull, William Lipscomb Davis, Jr., James Murray Perry, Harrison Shull Davis, Rogers Herbert Morrison, Jr. and Charles Young Morrison. In lieu of flowers, expressions of remembrance may be made to the Music department of West End United Methodist Church, and Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice.
