->Smith, Louise M.Louise M. Smith, a lifelong resident of Rockland County died suddenly Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Nyack Hospital. She was 77. Louise was born July 1, 1935 in Orangeburg, N.Y. to Edward and Mildred (Kunik) Evans. Louise worked until her retirement at McGraw Hill Publishing, after her retirement she drove for Varied Transit, Kiddies Kove Nursery, and the YMCA Children Center. She loved baseball and had a love for her METS. Louise is survived by her daughter Deborah Leahy, sons Donald and John, Her sister Gloria Conklin, sisters-in-law Maryann Smith and Margaret Chous. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Louise is predeceased by her husband Robert L. in 2001, brothers Eddie and Frank Evans and Sister Elizabeth Linzenbold. Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-8 at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home GARNERVILLE. Louise's Funeral Service will be celebrated at 8:00 pm with Reverend Warren Brandt officiating. Memorial donations are being requested to the American Cancer Association in Louise's memory.T.J.
