Obituary of Louise Jackson


Ms. Louise R. Jackson, 89, was called from labor to rest on Saturday, May 12, 2007. She was born on October 16, 1918, to the late Julia Abraham. Louise lived in Baltimore and New York for several years. She returned to Greenville in 1971. After joining the Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church, she became a very active member on the Pastor's Aide ministry and the Senior Choir. She retired as a cook. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law of 53 years, Deaconess Doris S. Abraham.She leaves to cherish fond memories her son, Deacon Bobby J. Abraham; four grandchildren, Steve A. Abraham, Mark A. (Tony) Abraham, A. Yvette Abraham of Greenville, S.C., and Dorlisa B. Jones of Lyman, S.C.; four great-grandchildren, Quana L. Abraham, Qiwon Abraham, Marqee R. Belton, all of Greenville, S.C., and Jaylen Jones of Lyman, S.C.; three great-great-grandchildren, Kiadra Abraham, Gregory Neal and Kayla D. Abraham, all of Greenville, S.C.; two sisters, Annie Mae Dillard and Jessie Mae Logan of Greenville, S.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Services for Ms. Jackson will be Friday, May 18, 2007, at Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church. The remains will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Greenville Memorial Gardens.The family is at her son's residence, 515 Uneeda Court, Greenville, S.C.Services entrusted to Clark's Funeral Home Inc.
