Louise Harris Bennett, 74, widow of Farice Lee Bennett, of 109 Jones St., died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at NHC HealthCare of Anderson. Born in Lavonia, Ga., she was a daughter of the late William Oscar and Maggie Harris. Member: Bethel United Methodist Church. Retired: Equinox Mill. Survivors: A son, William F. Bennett of Belton; a daughter, Margaret B. Weaver of Pendleton; a brother, Oscar L. Harris of Lavonia; a sister, Roselle Roberson of Lavonia; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
