Louise Gwinn Smith ROEBUCK, SC-- Louise Gwinn Smith, 80, wife of the late Fred Alton "Ketch" Smith, died Monday, November 7, 2011. Born April 10, 1931, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late William Coy and Johnny Opal Lankford Gwinn. She retired from Butte Knitting and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School class and Roebuck Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith is survived by a son, Danny Smith (Lynn) of Roebuck; three daughters, Angie Davis (Eddie) of Simpsonville, and Shirley Moore-Tippi (Bruce) of Roebuck, and Kim Sloan (Joe) of Inman; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Roebuck Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Roebuck Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Dr. Tim Williams and the Reverend Ondre Black. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens. In memory of Mrs. Smith, memorials may be made to the Women's Mission Fund, Roebuck Baptist Church, 1979 East Blackstock Road Roebuck, SC 29376.
