New London - Louise Elsie Smith, 54, of Lee Avenue, passed away April 11, 2013, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.She was born July 15, 1958, in New London, the daughter of the late Kenneth W. Thurlow and Louise J. (Glynn) Thurlow.Louise is survived by her husband, Neil R. Smith; three daughters, Jennie Santiago and her husband, Ricardo, of New London, Tiffany Smith of New London, and Jaclyn Shortoff-Noyce of Baltic; a sister, Sherry Verdini; and three grandchildren, Aries, Nickalis, and Mackenzie.She was predeceased by a brother, Peter Thurlow and a sister, Carol Mitchell.A special thank you to our friend, John.
