Obituary of Louise Ens

ENS, LouiseSeptember 16, 1916 - July 7, 2013Louise Ens passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, having lived a fulfilling life. She was born in Clarkboro, Saskatchewan, moved to Saskatoon, and resided in the North Park family home continuously from 1940 until a second stroke in 2008 forced her eventual move to Oliver Lodge. There, she was treated most kindly by their professional and compassionate Staff, who cared, and kept her safe and comfortable, as did her Physician, Dr. Berwyn Larson. Additional Caregivers provided by Saskatoon Home Support Services, most especially Amanda Loring and Toby, plus Darcy Haubrich, were also instrumental in personally assisting her. A 'stay-at-home' mother while her children were small, she was employed by a number of local retailers, including the F. W. Woolworth Company, and the S. S. Kresge Company. However, her great passion was always her garden, and especially the flowers which she herself planted, and grew in great abundance. Marigolds were her favorites, but others, such as Sunflowers, were also nurtured. Louise was predeceased by her husband, James, in 1975, and her oldest son, Larry, in 2002. She is survived by her youngest son, Bob. In respect to her own wishes, burial will be private. Arrangements in care of Carol Wiebe - Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200
