HILL -- Louise E. Smith, 93, died April 5, 2008, at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen after a period of declining health.She was born in Ipswich, Mass., Nov. 6, 1914, to Harry and Jenny (Lind) Rutherford.She lived on Bean Hill Road in Northfield for many years before moving to Hill in 1975 to live with her son and daughter-in-law.She was a homemaker. Most important to her was spending time with family and friends.She was a longtime active member of Hill Village Bible Church.She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar J. Smith, in 1975.The family includes sons Charles W. Denningham of Hill and Paul E. Denningham of New London; daughters Mary Louise Magoon of Hill and Joan E. Rule of Franklin; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one nephew.SERVICES: Calling hours are Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at William F.
