Louise Smith Bailey, age 92, died Friday, November 28, 2014. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove, AL; former member of First Baptist Church, Midfield. She was a graduate of Pell City High School, a graduate of Auburn University, a member of Alabama Pharmacist Association, a life member of Auburn Alumni Association and Auburn Golden Eagles; a member of the Order of Eastern Star Cunningham Chapter #24, former member Midfield Lioness Club and retired co-owner of Bailey Leggett Rexall Drug, Midfied. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Hubert C. Bailey; parents, Leetha H. and Norman S. Smith, Jr.; sister, Frances S. Williams and niece, Carolyn E. Turner. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn S. Turner, and special niece, Cynthia Bailey Childress; nieces, Stacie Accola, Gayle Morris, Annabelle B. Usher, Carol Bailey, and Brenda Kinsey; nephews, Todd Williams, A. K. Bailey, Jr., Radford Childers, and Buford Cox, Jr.; numerous great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on December 1, 2014. Burial followed at Eastaboga Baptist Church Cemetery, Eastaboga, AL. Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home directed.
