->WINTHROP -- Louise A. Raymond, 87, died peacefully at her home on Route 133 in Winthrop on Friday, August 24, 2007.She was born at Augusta General Hospital on November 19, 1919 the daughter of Roy and Alice (Stevens) Young. She was the youngest of 12 children.She married James Raymond Jr. in October of 1939. They were married for 53 years. Together they owned and operated Jim's Bait Shop on Route 133 in Winthrop for 23 years.She was predeceased by her parents, all of her brothers and sisters, a daughter Dorothy Pettengill, and a grandson John Pettengill.She is survived by a daughter Patricia Plummer and a son Leo Raymond, both of Winthrop; four grandchildren, Christine Meulhlausen of Farmington, N.H., Kathy Boutin of Hampden, Tom Pettengill of Wayne and Tammy Pettengill; also several nieces and nephews.Visiting will be held Tuesday, August 28 from 4-7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10.Burial will be in Glenside Cemetery on Turkey Lane in Winthrop following the service.Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Elder of Independence of Maine, P.O.
