REID, LOUIS KIRK, 55, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his residence. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and was a Catholic by faith. He was a graduate of Jeffersontown High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. Kirk worked for the Kroger Company for over 36 years and loved Germantown and his second family at Check's Café. Preceding him in death were his father, Judge H. Collis Reid, Jr.; and his brother, Joseph Glenn Reid. He is survived by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Reid; brother, John Reid (Judy); Mary Ann Underhill (Jeff); many nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Boo.
