ELIAS, Louis 77 years, died peacefully on June 1, 2004 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Georgette (nee Neme)(2003). Loving father of Joe and wife Marianne, Tony and wife Lori, Theresa "Terri", all of Windsor and Danny and wife Lisa of LaSalle. Dear grandfather of Tonya and husband Tony Arbagi, Joseph, Justin, Christopher, Anthony, Diana, Jessica, Alaina, Nicole, Matthew, Michael and Sophia. Dear brother of Laura Youssef and husband Tony, Paul Elias and wife Tamam, Adele Sarkas and late husband Joseph, late Waigh Elias and wife Museka, Maria Nohra and husband Waigh, Sam Elias and wife Laurice and Max Elias and wife Marie, all of Leamington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Elias was the founder of Elias Markets and was a member of St. Charbels Maronite Church. Funeral on Friday, June 4, 2004 at 9:30 am. from Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. (253-5225) then to St. Charbels Maronite Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Louis Elias in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004.
