Sister Louella Allen Hall passed away on May 16, 2009. She was a native of Bulloch County, but moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., at a young age. She was a member of Longshoreman Lady's Auxiliary, Dillard Booster Club and also Order of the Eastern Star Lady Louanna 513/Lady Dowdy Chapter 150. And then she joined Peaceful Zion Baptist Church soon as she moved to Ft. Lauderdale. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Hall Jr.; one daughter, Chandra Hall; a sister, Josephine Swanson; a brother-in-law, Roosevelt Bruce. She leaves with her love and memories: seven children, Derral (Karlyn) Hall of Miami, Fla., Ronald Hall of Homestead, Fla., Debra (Anthony) Donaldson, Stephen Hall III, Jacqueline (Ken) Williams, Alan Hall, Bonetha Hall (James), all of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., one sister, Georgia Ann Bruce; one brother, Walter (Louise) Allen, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., one brother-in-law, Coleman Swanson; three aunts, one great-aunt, all of Statesboro, Ga.; 28 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, very dear and special person like a daughter, Cheryl G. Hall Cox of Columbia, S.C.; Betty Rolle of Homestead, Fla.; and a host of dear nieces, nephews and loving friends. The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Miller Grove Baptist Church. Burial: church cemetery. Remains will lie in state from 11 a.m. until funeral hour.
