Jackson, loving father of Barbara Watson-Fisher (Michael), Susan Speed (Aman, Sr.), Eugene Jackson (Nichelle) and Michael Jackson, Sr. (Pamela); grandfather of Simone Amani, Noelle Amani and Aman Speed, Jr., Imani Jean and Michael Jackson, Jr., Drewfaye, Rufus Eugene and Rocky Watson, Jr., great grandfather of Cachet Wilson; son of the late Rev. Udell Vernon; brother of the late Olamae Holbert. He is also survived by his mother, Alberta Mills (the late Charles Mills); seven brothers, Calvin (Pam), Willie (Mary), Charles (Jean), Sylvester (Randy) and Leon (Teresa) Mills, David and Earl Vernon; his mother and father-in-law Ethel Word and Jessie Ringo; three sisters-in-law, Patricia Ann Taylor, Addie Marie Mitchell and Sybil Word and countless relatives and friends.
