Suddenly in Calgary, Alberta as a result of an accident on Friday, July 18th, 2003 at the age of 40 years. Daughter of Marc-Antoine and Gertrude Le Guerrier of Cumberland. Wife of David Faren of Calgary. Loving mother of Alisdair and Philippe. Dear sister of Martine Williams, Danielle Baughman, Joelle Harrison, Gina Smith, Robert Le Guerrier, Chantal Le Guerrier, Renee Madeleine Le Guerrier and half-sister of Mirelle Hallarn, Guilles Le Guerrier, Marie Paule Meloche and Gervais Le Guerrier. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements to be completed in Calgary this week. A Memorial Service to celebrate Lorraine's life will be held in Cumberland at a later date. LE GUERRIER Lorraine The staff and families of Calgary French & International School wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the families and friends of Lorraine Le Guerrier (Faren), more fondly known as "Madame Lorraine" who has taught our children since 1994. She was tragically taken away from us on Friday, July 18, 2003 as a result of an automobile accident on the Trans Canada Highway. Her spirit and wisdom inspired and nurtured everyone she touched. Her light will live on through the eyes of the hundreds of children, staff and parents who knew her. On behalf of the school community, a Celebration of Life Service will be held in Lorraine's honour on Sunday, August 24, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the North Glenmore Park Community Association (2231 Longridge Drive S.W.). Please check the School website (www.cfs.calgary.ab.ca) for further details. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Calgary French & International School in Lorraine's name. The School will establish an annual scholarship, provide educational support for her two boys and plant a flowering tree in her name at our new school. Madame Lorraine, you will be deeply missed and never forgotten.164550 CÉRÉMONIE COMMÉMORATIVE LORRAINE LeGUERRIER FAREN Le jeudi 21 août 2003 à 19h30 la famille LeGuerrier de Cumberland vous invite pour célébrer le passage de Lorraine LeGuerrier Faren dans notre famille.
