LORETTA MAE LEE 1907 2005 Loretta was born in Lindsay, Ontario, on September 16, 1907, the youngest child of Fred and Lena Purves. They moved to Saskatoon when Loretta was a small child. She took all of her schooling in Saskatoon at Princess Alex and Buena Vista, graduating from Nutana Collegiate and Saskatoon Business College. In 1928, she married Clifford Lee. They were active in Kinsmen and Loretta was a charter member of the Kinnette Club of Saskatoon. She worked for many years as secretary of the Kinsmen Celebrity Series office and at Investors Syndicate. She was a member of Toastmistress. Loretta passed away peacefully at Saskatoon City Hospital on Monday, August 1, 2005, six weeks before her 98th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband in 1942. She is survived by two sons, Doug (Gerry) of Saskatoon and Bill (Ann) of Redwood Meadows, AB; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five nieces and one nephew. A private interment will take place at a later date at her request. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mervin G.
