Funeral for Lorene Margaret Christian, 73, of Town Creek will be Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Cave Springs Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Glen Smith, Bro. Heath Webb and Bro. Ron Edgil officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 ot 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Christian, who died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born Sept. 12, 1933, in Lawrence County to Lonnie and Classie Landers. She retired as a school bus driver. She was a member of Cave Springs Free Will Baptist Church. Her daughter, Judy Bradford, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Clydis Christian; one daughter, Vickie Scoggins of Hatton; three brothers, Gurnie Landers and Hershel Landers, both of Hatton, and Wayne Landers of Atlanta, Ga.; four sisters, Christine Kent of Decatur, Hilda Coan of Hatton, Evelyn Pace of and Carolyn Woodard of Guntersville; four grandchildren, Arminda Sylvester, Faith Terry, Allison Jones and Olivia Scoggins, all of Hatton; and three great grandchildren, Rickey Bradford, Jude Bradford and Blythe Jones, all of Hatton. Pallbearers will be Danny Hallmark, Ronnie Bishop, Paul West, Mack Parker, Rickey Borden and Mike Matlock. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
