Mitchell, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, passed away at the home of her son, LoRal G. Linton on June 20, 2013.She was born in Salt Lake City on March 10, 1924 to Albert Edward Howell Leach and Alice Evelyn Waters Leach. She was the 2nd of four children. 3 boys, William (Bill) Clemm Leach, Trevor Kenneth Leach, Theophilus Moss Leach and 1 sister, Nathalia (Taylor) Leach Lewis.She grew up in Tropic, UT, SLC, UT, Johnson Canyon-Bald Knoll Ranch, but mostly in Kanab, UT. She loved her brothers, but they were busy herding goats and cows. She and her sister, Taylor, were inseparable. They did everything together, they were best friends their whole life. While they were young they loved to play paper dolls, night games, Kick the Can, Run Sheepy Run and climb the K-hill.She married Jack Parker in 1941. They had 2 children, the late Evelyn Ann Parker Knape and Ronald Max Parker. They later divorced.In 1947 she married Ralph Linton. They had a son, LoRal G. Linton. They lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, where they owned and operated a dry cleaner, later moving back to Kanab, the place she loved. They later divorced. In 1965 she married Stanley Eugene (Gene) Mitchell and they made their home in Fredonia, AZ. They had a daughter, Stana Genn Mitchell Fisher.In 1968 they bought and operated the Grand Canyon Motel in Fredonia AZ. In 1976 they sold the Motel and moved across town, where she spent many hours creating one of the most beautiful yards in Fredonia. Reet and her daughter, Evelyn Ann always loved flowers and wanted something to keep them busy. So in 1981 they started a flower shop, Aunties Flowers and Things Floral. They worked together for 22 years. Reet finally decided it was time to retire at the age of 79.After retiring, she stayed busy working in her beautiful yard, playing and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known for the best ever homemade bread and pancakes. Without a recipe, she would just add a scoop of this and a handful of that. Perfect every time!She loved her family with all her heart. She always enjoyed having her family close. Loved any event that she could get her family together, Christmas, Easter Egg hunts, barbeques, going out to dinner and having family reunions with all her brothers and sisters families. She was always full of fun and surprises. She will be missed.Reet is survived by her husband, Stanley Eugene Mitchell; her children, Ronald Max Parker (Bonnie), LoRal G. Linton (Charlyn), and Stana Genn Fisher (Mark); brother, Trevor and sister, Taylor. 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bill and Moss Leach and daughter Evelyn Ann Knape.There will be a viewing on Friday, June 28, 2013, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at the Kanab, South LDS Chapel. Services will be held on Sat. June 29, 2013, at 11:00 am in the South chapel, with a viewing prior from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Burial will be in the Kanab City Cemetery, under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.
