TUCKER Lola Mae Tucker, 90, passed away May 30, 2002. Born in Dublin, GA, she was a Jacksonville resident for 61 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Tucker. Survivors include her son, Charlie Thomas (Ann); her daughter, Allene Parker, both of Jacksonville; her grandson, Michael Parker (Teresia) of Norfolk, VA, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was a member of Greater Refuge Temple, Bishop Gentle Groover, Sr., pastor, for over 30 years, where she served as a participant on many boards and committees in her time. A retired housekeeper, she gave over 20 years of dedicated service to many families throughout the city. Funeral services will be held at her church on Thursday, June 6, 2002, at 2:00 PM, Bishop Groover, officiating. Mrs. Tucker will rest in the mortuary for the visitation of friends on TODAY, Wed., June 5, from 5 until 8 PM. Interment in Restlawn Memorial Park.
