Lois Jeanne Johnson, 64, of Panama City, went home on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She was born on April 13, 1949 in Panama City. She was a graduate of Bay High School and the University of Florida. Go Gators! She retired after 40 years of teaching school at Jinks Middle School, Cedar Grove Elementary and Tyndall Elementary. She was a lifelong member of the Palo Alto Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Margaret Murray. She is survived by her husband, John Johnson; three children, Lori Eldridge (Joshua), Jeremy Johnson (Julie), Stephen Johnson (Heather); seven grandchildren, Noah Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Elijah Johnson, Christopher Eldridge, Isaac Eldridge, Jacob Johnson, Alexis Johnson; two sisters, Patricia Mader, Becky Curry (Ben); and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday at the Palo Alto Church of Christ.
