Lois-J. Williams, spouse of Cobie-W. Williams, mother of Linda W, died on April 15, 2006.
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Lois Jackson Williams, wife of Cobie W. Williams, entered into rest Saturday, April 15, 2006 at University Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Cobie W. Williams, daughter, Linda W. Callaway and her husband Donnie; granddaughter, Tina Thompson Hawes and her husband Jason; great-granddaughter, Taylor Hawes; great-grandson Colby Hawes, all of North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Ann Steptoe and Elizabeth Jackson both of Swainsboro, GA; two brothers, Irvin Jackson of Jacksonville, FL and Alvin Jackson of Swainsboro, GA; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived her life giving to her family and others ahead of herself. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Williams was born in Swainsboro, GA, and had lived in North Augusta since 1954. She was a Christian and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held today at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2006 in the chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Coyle and Mr. John Boswell officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bill Hixon, Donnie Thompson, Raymond Deal, Jim Purcell, James Callaway and Jeremy Callaway. Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
