Lois H. Williams, age 78, St. Augustine, died on April 29, 2010, at Flagler Hospital. She was born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, and had resided in St. Augustine since 1958. She worked for more than 30 years at Frantz Childcare before her retirement.Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. Flowers are gratefully declined and those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Make a Wish Foundation, 4613 Phillips Highway, Jacksonville, FL 32207.She is survived by her daughter, Denise Underwood and her husband Alan, Bushnell; son, James B. "Jimmy" Williams and his wife, Prudence, St. Augustine; one sister, Coleen Schwerk, Wadesboro, N.C.; grandchildren, Bryson and Garrison Williams, and Ronnie Jr. and Nathan Six.She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Red" Bruce Williams Sr.St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
