Lois Gordon Williams -Townsend- Lois Gordon Williams, 82, died Friday, October 27, 2006 at Wayne Memorial hospital in Jesup. She was a native of Long County and had lived in McIntosh County for the last 67 years. She was member of Middleton Memorial Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn W. Hoyt of Jesup, GA, Annette W. Amerson and Ouida W. Thomas both of Crescent, GA; one sister, Tommie Sue Milton of Ludowici, GA; one brother, Dewitt Gordon of Ludowici, GA. Mrs. Williams also is survived by six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m., at Middleton Memorial Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Marvin Leggitt officiating.
