BELLINGER, Lois (nee Donnelly) - Died peacefully at Extendicare on April 12, 2006, in her 87th year, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. Wife of the late William “Blink“ Bellinger (1994). Lois is survived by her son Blake (Karen) and her granddaughter Missy of St. Catharines, brothers Ron (Betty) Donnelly of Scarborough and Barry (June) Donnelly of Ottawa. Lois will be greatly missed by her good friends Doris and Geri who visited her as often as possible during her illness. Lois was a member of the first executive of the St. Catharines Minor Baseball Association in the early 60's, as well as a Cub Scout leader for over 20 years with the Grace Church cub pack. In her later years, she was a weekly volunteer at Community Care Services, again for more than 20 years. A special thanks to the 2nd floor staff at Extendicare, who made her life as comfortable as possible, under trying circumstances. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be determined at a later date.
