Royston - Mrs. Lois Cabe Ashworth Williams, 76, of 151 Timberlake Circle, Royston, Georgia died Sunday, November 26, 2006 at her home.Mrs. Williams was born in Franklin, North Carolina, July 23, 1930, daughter of the late Milo and Margie Buchanan Cabe. She retired as a nurse with the Ty Cobb Health Care System after 24 years of service. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Royston United Methodist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Royston-Franklin Springs Pilot Club. Mrs. Williams was twice married, first to the late William Donald Ashworth, and second to Mr. J.A. (Pete) Williams of Royston, Georgia.In addition to her husband, Mrs. Williams is survived by sons, William Donald Ashworth, Jr., Douglas Ashworth, and Steve Williams, all of Royston, Georgia, and Stanley Williams of Cleveland, Georgia; daughters, Susan Thompson of Clayton, Georgia, and Sherri Parker of Simpsonville, South Carolina; brother, Milo Cabe, Jr. of Franklin, North Carolina; sister, Evelyn Shelnut of Spartanburg, South Carolina; 18 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Royston United Methodist Church with Dr. Danny Barton and Rev. Jim McCullough officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowman, Georgia. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Williams' eleven grandsons.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. The family is at the home. Flowers are optional.
