Lois Compton Miller, 92, widow of Gossie Miller, of 2313 Harris Bridge Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at B.J. Workman Memorial Hospital. A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late W. Brady and Nancy Alice Williams Compton. Survivors: Daughters, Doris Wofford of Taylors, Juanita Simmons of Enoree, Robbie Nell Sumner and Vivian Langston, both of Woodruff, and Julie Ann Burdette of Greenville; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Lanford Funeral Home. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Bramlett United Methodist Church.
