Lloyd C. Johnson Hobart Lloyd C. Johnson, age 81, of Hobart, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 26, 2005. He had been a lifelong Hobart area resident. Lloyd was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of WWII and was a pilot of the B-25 Aircraft. He was owner and partner of A and J Financial Services and was a Prudential Insurance Agent for 30 years. He was an active member of Augustana Lutheran Church and was one of the founders of Augustana Lutheran Church Foundation. Lloyd was an avid golfer "duffer", loved the joy of flying and loved a wide range of music. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Alma "Jigger"; three children: Joan (Rich) Locke of Carmel, IN, David (Lynda Christopher) Johnson of Valparaiso and Ken (Lisa) Johnson of Reno, NV; three grandchildren: Jenifer (Chad) Mitchell, Kristin Locke, both of Fishers, IN and Justin Locke of Carmel, IN; two great-grandchildren: Chase and Emma Mitchell, both of Fishers, IN; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Harry S. and Tillie O. Johnson and brother, Harry O. Johnson. Memorial contributions preferred to Augustana Lutheran Church Foundation. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from Augustana Lutheran Church, 207 Kelly Street, Hobart, with Rev. Charles R. Strietelmeier, officiating. Cremation at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
