Cherished grandmother of Cindy (Steve Young), Sari (Harvey Toll), Monty (Joelle Hass), Ellen (David Ruimy), Sara (Stuart Gold), Carla (Brian Hoffman), Heidi (Mark Hardy). Great-grandmother of seventeen children. Sister of Ghislaine (Genest Guay), Sister Marcelle m.i.c., Renee (the late Andre Parent), Ginette (Raymond Laverdure) and Claude Saint-Gelais. Sister-in-law of Henriette Simard (the late Jean Saint-Gelais), Suzanne Deserres, Nicole Cote (the late Hermann Saint-Gelais), Paulie Prupas (the late Morrie Prupas) and Annie (Ralph Silverstone). She will be sadly missed by many others including nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Funeral service will be held at Centre Funeraire Cote-des-Neiges, 4525 Cote-des-Neiges Road, Montreal (514) 342-8000, on Thursday, December 16, 1999 at 1 p.m. Thence to Mount Royal Cemetery for interment at the Temple Emanu-El Beth Sholom Congregation Section. Donations can be made to the Oncology Department of the Jewish General Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
