February 29, 1972 - November 28, 2011 Lisa was courageous. She was generous, optimistic, kind, unselfish, fun-loving, determined, gregarious and beautiful. Lisa brought her lively spirit to her work as a teacher in SD43 and at Safeway (as fish monger extraordinaire). Her spirit followed her at play whether hiking, biking or paddling; camping (Tofino) travelling or skiing. She will be lovingly missed by her husband Steve, mom & dad Louise & Doug, brother Dave, Jen & Callum, sister Tracey, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the many health professionals who cared for Lisa over the last 9½ years for their bottomless compassion & humor. A celebration of life will be held at Newlands Golf & Country Club 21025 48th Ave., Langley, BC at 1pm on Wednesday Dec. 7th. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lisa's name will be gratefully accepted for the Callanish Society in support of their weeklong retreats & day programs for people living with Cancer (www.callanish.org).
