<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Lisa Ann Anderson Brown, 46, loving wife, mother and daughter, was born on November 28, 1967, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was the only child born to the union of the late LD Anderson and Ella Walker Anderson. Lisa accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was baptized at the Bright Morning Star Baptist Church. Later, she joined the Light Hill Baptist Church where she participated in the music ministry. Lisa attended schools in Caddo Parish, graduating in the top ten of her class from Northwood High School. She furthered her education at Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana, obtaining her bachelor's degree in Criminology. At Dillard, she was on the National Dean's List and was a member of the Pre-Law and the Phi Mu Kappa History Honor Societies. She was named an Academic All-American, received the Scholastic Achievement Award and was listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. She also attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas and St. Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. On June 23, 1990 she united in holy matrimony with Wade L. Brown of Angie, Louisiana. To this union, one son was born, Wade L. Brown Jr. Lisa departed this earthly life, for eternal rest and everlasting life, on January 6, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, LD Anderson; her maternal grandmother, Mary Lee Walker, who was her confidant and inspiration; and her maternal grandfather, Marion Walker, Sr. She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her devoted and loving husband, Wade L. Brown Sr.; adoring son and second-best friend, Wade L. Brown Jr.; caring and supportive mother, Ella Walker Anderson; godmother, Nora Lee Youngblood; mother-in-law, Clementine Morris; sister-in-law, Julia McFarland; brothers-in-law, John Morris III and Javon Morris; nephews, Antonio and Julian McFarland; eight aunts; two uncles and a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Brown were held Friday, January 10, 2014, at 12 noon in the Chapel of Good Samaritan Funeral Home in Shreveport, Louisiana. Interment followed at Light Hill Baptist Church in Shreveport. Bishop Timmie Howard, Kingdom Covenant Church, Shreveport, officiated. Pastor Alejandro Smith, Light Hill Baptist Church, Shreveport, gave the Words of Comfort. Mrs. Brown died Monday, January 6, 2014 after a brief illness.
