LINDA F. WILSON -MELBOURNE - Linda F. Wilson, 69, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at Health First Hospice House in Palm Bay, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 50 years, her two sons and by her hundreds of friends throughout Brevard County as well as her many Iowa relatives. Linda was born May 18, 1939 to Robert and Eunice Fairbanks in Anamosa, Iowa where she enjoyed a typical Midwestern storybook life, full of close and extended family, rich in tradition, love and friendship. Her family dates back to the Fairbanks that arrived on the Mayflower. In high school she found success in relationships and was a team cheerleader. Married in 1959 she worked in the family construction business until 2001 as vice president, secretary and treasurer. Later she worked as an associate Realtor with McClusky Realty Company and other firms in Brevard County. Linda is survived by her husband, David L. Wilson, Sr.; her sons, David L. Wilson, Jr. of Melbourne and Daniel R. Wilson of Tampa; and niece, Jesse Fairbanks of Palm Beach. According to her wishes, a private service is planned.
