AUBURNDALE -- Mrs. Linda Lou Smith of Auburndale died of heart failure Monday (Nov. 21, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 55.Born Sept. 15, 1950, in Mansfield, Ohio, Mrs. Smith moved to Florida from there in 1987. She was a homemaker.Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Henry G. Smith Sr.; sons, Henry G. Smith Jr. and Matthew T. Smith, both of Lakeland, William E. Smith, Indiana, and Christopher C. Smith, Auburndale; brothers, Bob Shepherd and Gary Shepherd, both of Mansfield, Ohio, and Don Shepherd, Ohio; sisters, Hannah Longhorn and Irene Stone, both of Mansfield, and Brenda Morris, Kentucky; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Auburndale. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
