Linda Bembry Smith, 54, died Jan. 14, 2011, at Treasure Coast Hospice. She was born in Winter Haven and was a longtime resident of St. Lucie County. Survivors include her sons, Timothy Hills of Port St. Lucie and Anthony Smith Sr. of Fort Pierce; daughters, Sally Hills of Fort Pierce and Roudine Hills of Orlando; father, Daniel Courtney of Winter Haven; brothers, Roosevelt Bembry of Fort Pierce, Cecil Bembry of Winter Haven and Embrig Bembry of Gardenville Beach; sisters, Bertha Bembry, Roudine Hills and Willie Mae Troutman, all of Fort Pierce; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Bembry; son, Willie Lee Hills; and sister, Hattie Mae Bembry-Walker. Services: Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Jan. 22 at the Love Center, followed by a service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce.
