SMYTH, Linda Saturday, September 4, 2004 peacefully with her family by her side after a brave battle with cancer at The Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre at the age of 55. Loving wife of Peter and dedicated mother of Marissa (Don Martin) and Thomas. Dear aunt of Sean, Alexandra, Shannon and Ryan. Will be greatly missed by Nana and Grandpa, her brothers Alan and Sharon, Ross and Suzan, Bob and Jackie. Cherished friend of Susie, Eileen and Shelley. Accomplished graduate of Richard Robinson's School of Fashion Design. She will be missed by all her sewing and Irish dance clients. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd, Orleans on Thursday, September 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Celebration of Linda's life will take place at Woodvale Pentecostal Church, 205 Woodroffe Ave, on Friday, September 10 at 2 p.m. Thanks to all nurses and doctors at 7W and 6W at OGH for their special care. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at the OG Cancer center and Rehab center. Lastly a most heartfelt thanks to the compassionate and very special nurses, doctors and volunteers on the palliative floor (fifth) of the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre.
