The daughter of the late Emerson and Sarah (Green) Warden, Linda was born on January 22, 1946 in New York City. Linda was married to Dennis Reiss who predeceased her in 2001.Linda received her master's degree from Mt. St. Mary College in Newburgh. She was a social worker for Elant Social Services and belonged to the National Association of Social Workers. For many years Linda was the Activities Coordinator for the Dominican Sisters of Hope. She is survived by her sons: Christopher and Kevin both of Newburgh; her brother Emerson Charles Warden, Jr. of New Jersey; her sisters: Patricia Proctor of New Jersey and Phyllis Warden of New Jersey; 4 grandchildren; and 1 niece, 1 nephew, and many cousins and friends.Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, August 21 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 22 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 271 Broadway, Newburgh.
