Linda-N. Mason, born in 1947, daughter of Willie and Beatrice-Lawson, died on April 4, 2003 at 56 years old.
Linda Kate Norwood Mason, 56, of 1897 Chapman Road, died Friday, April 4, 2003, at her residence after a long illness. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Willie A. and Beatrice Lawson Norwood. Mrs. Mason was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her spouse, Johnny L. Sullivan; two daughters, Sharon M. Smith and Kathy J. Ausburn; two sons, Marcus I. Smith and Billy E. Smith; four grandchildren, Phillip S. Smith, Grace L. Smith, Jamie M. Smith and Jack M. Smith; sisters and their husbands, Rosie and Johnny Barbare, of Conestee, Mary and Jack Pearson, and Ruby Waldrop, all of Fountain Inn; a brother, Calvin Norwood, of Fountain Inn; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Waldrop, of Fountain Inn; seven nieces; and four nephews. Mrs. Mason was predeceased by a daughter, Sherry L. Smith; and a brother, Archie Norwood. Graveside funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 6, 2003, at Cannon Memorial Park in Fountain Inn. The family received friends from Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Cannon Funerals and Cremations in Simpsonville. Those desiring may make memorials to Cannon Funerals and Cremations, 603 W.
