McGILL, Linda M. (Strong)1948 - 2015It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda M. McGill, daughter of James McGill and Ida Barnett, on March 9, 2015. Her cheery smile and laughter lit up many a happy gathering, as music lovers attempted to sing along with her. Linda never lost her love of Irish stories and music while helping others learn of our Irish heritage. Many will miss Linda's generous, happy spirit, which she shared with her co-workers and troubled clients. "Sing on" Linda, we will miss you so. Linda's many friends and family will be holding a Memorial Service to honour her life on Saturday, March 21 at the Lakeshore Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5065 Sherbrooke St., Lachine, QC. The Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be followed by a Reception.
