Linda M. Fleming, 66, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Linda was born on June 23, 1944 in Ferndale, Michigan, and was the daughter of the late David and Shirley (Szumski) Topping. She served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 to 1965. She was an accountant for 31 years for the Albany County Department of Social Services, retiring in October of 2000. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and bowling. Linda is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Jody Fleming of Schenectady; her cherished granddaughter, Kendall M. Fleming; her sisters, Connie, Bonnie, Terry, and Carol; her brother, Doug, and several nieces. As per Linda's wishes, there will be no services. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Angels in Colonie.
