She was preceded in death by her loving husband and soul mate James Henderson, Sr. her parents William and Tula Thornton, her daughter Tammy Henderson Hale and her son James Henderson, Jr. She leaves behind one daughter Susan (Johnny) Cook, one sister Debbie Asay, six grandchildren James Henderson, III, Jeremiah Lee (Barbie) Hale, Christine Marie Smiley, Sarah Aubrey (Charles) Eloff, Johnathan Henderson and Gabriel, Nicole (Bobby) Morgan, twelve great grandchildren, Brodey, Kalin, Austin, Halie, James IV, Kelsey, Zoe, Richard, Molly, Connor, Bella, Caleb and her special friend Joyce Pyle, a loving bowling community and a host of other friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeside Hospice or the ACS. Funeral service will be Monday August 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening August 10, 2014 from 5 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
