OKEECHOBEE - Linda L. Smith, age 69, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at the Hamrick Home. Linda was born on Dec. 30, 1942, in Gary, Ind. She had resided in Okeechobee since 1978. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Leon G. Smith; and daughter, Valerie Boggs. She is survived by sons, Donald (Cheri) Smith of Ocala, Stanley L. Stearns, and Steven E. (Shannon) Smith, both of Okeechobee; daughters, Theresa (Jimmy) Fivecoat of Lake Worth, Ramona (Randy) Arnold of Mims, Fla.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
