TUFTONBORO -- Linda Johnson, 58, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at Memorial Hospital, North Conway. She was born Sept. 21, 1951, in Newark, N.J., the daughter of Robert Farmer of Toms River, N.J., and the late Dorothy Farmer, and was raised in Bloomfield, N.J., and later moved to Livingston, N.J., where she graduated from Livingston High School, class of 1969. She graduated from Overlook Hospital Nursing School in Summit, N.J., 1971. For the past 35 years, she lived in Tuftonboro and worked at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro for several years and as a nursing case manager with Carroll County Home and Health Care for the past 20 years. Besides her father, she is survived by her children, Craig Johnson of Augusta, Ga., and Laura Maccarone of Pembroke; two grandchildren; a sister, Diane Farmer Matthews of Stratford, Conn., and numerous nieces and nephews. SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Wolfeboro Falls, 128 Center Street, Wolfeboro Falls.
