->CLIFTON - Linda J. Green, 57, passed away peacefully, Oct. 2, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Sept. 1, 1956, the daughter of Peter and Virginia (Hamilton) Savage.Linda graduated from Milton High School, Milton, Mass., class of 1974. She was a Real Estate Broker and office manager for Quinn Agency, and a part time associate at Target. Linda volunteered for many groups including, President of PTO, teaching, cheering coach, girl scout leader, basketball coach, den mother, and many other community service events. She also received many awards for her volunteer work. Linda was a very graceful and dignified person who had a smile that would lights up a room. She loved and looked up to her mother. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and dedicated every moment she could to her family.Linda is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jeff Green Sr.; her mother, Virginia Savage; a son, Jeff Green Jr. and his wife, Rebecca, of Bangor; a daughter, Jessie Burke and her husband, Derek, of Dorchester, Mass.; grandchildren, Jack and Sara; sisters, Maureen Savage, of Weymouth, Mass., Jeanne Barton, of Chelmsford, Mass., Kelly Hardgrove and her husband, George, of Bangor, and Glennis Green, of Bangor; and uncle, Peter O&#x27;Neal, of Quincy, Mass. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brothers, Charles and Peter Savage; her mother-in-law, Rosalie Green; and uncle, Charles Hamilton.Relatives and friends are welcome to call 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John Roman Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor, following the service. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., following the interment.
