In loving memory of a wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Surrounded by her family, Linda passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, January 2, 2003 in her 55th year. Dearly loved by Matthew, her husband and best friend of 34 years; cherished mother of Kimberley Parisotto (husband David of Oakville), Sheila (partner Dustin Whalen of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia) and Angela Quinn (husband Andrew of Woodstock); sister of Ken Germain of Oakville; doting grandmother of baby Dante; daughter of the late Jean and Stephen Germain; special sister-in-law of Louis Hynes (Marie) and Henry Hynes (Madeleine) both ofSudbury and fondly remembered by other brothers and sisters-in-law. She will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews and many friends. Linda will be remembered for her love of gardening, and her beautiful folk art painting and stitchery work. Special thanks to Nat of the VON; Fran of Homecare; nursing staff of the 4th and 8th floors at Laurentian Hospital and Pastoral Care for the compassion and care they showed Linda and her family. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Church, 426 Burton Avenue, Sudbury, Monday, January 6, 2003 at 10 am. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. Prayers 8 pm Sunday.
